GIVE 828 IS THIS FRIDAY! 🖤✨
Have you heard about Give 828?
It’s a day created to shine a light on and support Black-led organizations making an impact in their communities and this year, I wanted to take the opportunity to talk a little more about Lisha’s Helping Hands.
Although we’re not officially registered as a Give 828 participant this year. We want to recognize the importance of the day and use the momentum surrounding it to encourage giving and support for the work we’re doing.
So between now and Friday, we’ll be sharing a little more about who we are, the work we’re doing, and the impact we’re working to create.
Lisha’s Helping Hands exists to serve, empower, and create opportunities for children, youth, and families in our community. From youth programming and leadership development to community giving and creating meaningful experiences for our young people, we’re committed to doing the work not just talking about it.
If you’ve ever watched what we’re doing and thought, “I want to support this,” this is the perfect opportunity.
As we approach Give 828, we’re also ramping up our own fundraising efforts to help us continue growing and serving our community.

Friday is Give 828. We may not be officially registered this year, but we absolutely believe in the spirit behind it: supporting Black-led organizations and investing in the communities they serve.
