Honorband/11-11-11 March Against Violence and Cancer

Honorband/11-11-11 March Against Violence and Cancer Honoring people living and decesed as a result of violence and cancer etc. As you read this letter, read with not only your eyes but with your heart as well.

I am very humbled by the vision that I have been given, which is to honor every person born upon the face of the earth. On April 16, 2007, the funeral service for my wife Wanda Shaw was being held. On that same day, 32 students and faculty at Virginia Tech lost their lives to a careless killer. The next day while shaving, I had an overwhelming urge to visit Virginia Tech to be with and to pray wit

h the students. One of the highlights of being there was meeting Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham, and having him say, “Thanks for being here in the midst of what has happened in your life.” A few months later I wanted to do something to honor Wanda, the 32 from Virginia Tech and Sean Taylor # 21 of the Washington Redskins, who was also killed November 2007. A window/bumper sticker was created. “Love, Forgive, Please Stop the Violence”, “32/21”, and the letter “W” was placed on the stickers. Months later as I was driving to work, that same urge that I had to go to Virginia Tech, came over me again to count the letters on the sticker. “Love, Forgive, Please Stop the Violence” equals 32 letters. The phrase “Please Stop the Violence” alone equals 21 letters. Later I found out that the date 9/11/01 added together also equals 21. Then I counted Love (4 letters) and Forgive (7 letters) which equals 11 when added together; the same numbers of the date Wanda passed away of breast cancer 4/11/07. What an amazing discovery!! 30,000 stickers have already been given away with a goal to give 1,000,000 stickers to each state. Out of this vision, an Honorband has been created to honor all people, with a desire to have millions of people wearing them as a reminder of those affected by cancer and violence. Red honors victims of violence and violent deaths and pink honors victims of cancer. 100,000 bands have been ordered. 21,000 will be given away in Tucson, Arizona to honor the 6 people killed and others that were shot. 21,000 will be given away to Fort Hood, TX to honor the 14 that were killed and those that were shot. 21,000 will be given away in New York to honor the thousands that were killed and many others that were injured and affected on 9/11/01. The last stop will be Virginia Tech to give away 21,000 Honorbands...where the vision started.
