Congrats Metro!! Well deserved!

Metro School is a Special Olympics National Banner School!

Metro School is proud to be one of only 10 schools in North Carolina and two schools in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools to receive this distinguished national honor.

This recognition celebrates our commitment to inclusion, acceptance, and creating meaningful opportunities for students of all abilities.

A huge shout-out to Dr. Harrison for her dedication and hard work in creating inclusive opportunities for our students through Unified Champion Schools. We are also grateful to our students, staff, families, and community partners who helped make this achievement possible.

Congratulations, Metro School family! We look forward to celebrating this accomplishment during our National Banner Ceremony!
