Excited to kick off the 2026 summer swim team season ??

Team tryouts are May 5 & May 7 at 5:30pm and season kicks off May 12

TEAM TRYOUTS
During tryouts, we will be looking for swimmers' confidence in the water and their ability to swim (any stroke) one length of the pool for 10 and Under, and 2 lengths of the pool for 11 and over.

You all did it! Quorum has been met. We will not need another election! Names to be announced once last ballots are cured which looks to be early next week.

HOA VOTING UPDATE & NEW INFO
As of Monday at 5pm Cristina had received 98 ballots. As of today, Wednesday at noon, we are only at 114. That is only 16 new ballots in a day and a half, including emails.
This is what I was afraid of, momentum slowing down. We need at least 460 votes from homeowners, so 346 to go.
💥 I did learn something new - If you are someone who doesn't care about who you vote for and have no interest in making a choice, any ballots submitted with only your signature and address even with zero votes WILL still count towards quorum.
‼️ If you have a landlord, will you ask them to submit their ballots please? Everything was sent to them. And the above applies to them too - they can abstain from putting marks by any names if they choose and just sign and put their address so that it counts towards us meeting quorum.
⭐️ ANY VOLUNTEERS TO HELP GET OUT THE VOTE? Let me know.
The Manor House will be open Thursday night 6:15 until 7:15 or 7:30 (until end of public portion) for the board Meeting if that is a good time to drop ballots off. THANK YOU

3 things:
1. Annual meeting ~ this Wednesday the 25th @ 6:30p for nominees to introduce themselves in person at the Manor House and speak to why they are running. You can come in person or listen in via Zoom - see email for link. Voting will be done by ballot, sent to all homeowner's (renters are unable to vote, but can run for the Board) after the meeting.

2. Nomination forms are "due" by Tuesday the 24th 5PM but you can also make a nomination, including nominating yourself, at the Annual meeting on Wednesday.

3. Usual Tuesday item pick up office hours at the Manor House are cancelled for Tuesday 24th (5:30-6:30pm) due to the Board needing to meet with the managers

One of the best ways to connect with all kinds of city services and learn the latest with what’s going on with DOT projects, airport changes, meet police and firefighters, reps from Parks & Rec, Animal Care & Control, and so much more. Kids welcome. Always very informative and a great place to have direct conversations with people in the know.
