BSA Cub Pack 49 Cub Scouts Pack 49 helps youth build confidence, character, leadership, and friendships through outdoor adventures, hands-on activities, service, and fun.

We meet Tuesdays from 6:30–7:30 PM in Charlotte, NC. New families are always welcome! BSA Cub Pack 49 is chartered by Back Creek Presbyterian Church (www.backcreekchurch.org), and has been serving families in the Charlotte, NC since 1988. We are part of the Mecklenburg County Council, in the Hornet's Nest District, and are a very active group of scouts. We would love for you to visit us and see how much fun scouting can be! Looking for something fun, positive, and meaningful for your child to be a part of? Pack 49 is welcoming new families!

Join us every Tuesday for Cub Scouts Pack 49, where kids can make friends, build confidence, learn new skills, and enjoy exciting adventures like camping, hiking, Pinewood Derby, rockets, community service, and more.

🚢⚓ PACK 49 IS HEADING TO THE USS YORKTOWN! 🇺🇸

Pack 49 families, get ready for an unforgettable Cub Scout adventure! We’re excited to participate in the Mecklenburg County Council USS Yorktown Overnight in Charleston, SC, November 7–8, 2026!

Scouts and their families will have the opportunity to spend the night aboard the historic WWII-era USS Yorktown, explore the ship, ride the ferry to Fort Sumter, and experience American history firsthand!

⭐ Who: Cub Scout families & new recruits — youth must be 7+
📍 Where: Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum
💵 Cost: $150 per person
📅 Registration opens September 10 on Tentaroo
🍽️ Saturday dinner & Sunday breakfast included
👨‍👦 Parent/guardian attendance is required
🏅 Scouts receive a commemorative Yorktown pin!
