RE: Support for Annexation and Zoning – Hudson Motorsports (Bandimere Speedway)
Dear Members of the Hudson Town Council,
On behalf of the U.S. Motorsports Association, I write in strong and enthusiastic support of the Bandimere family and Hudson Motorsports as they seek annexation and appropriate zoning for their new facility.
We have worked directly alongside the Bandimere family and their leadership team on national marketing initiatives involving Fortune 500 companies, community engagement programs, and government responsibility efforts. Their professionalism, long-term vision, and genuine care for community impact set them apart nationally.
Beyond racing, their operations serve as a workforce development engine — introducing young people to skilled trades, automotive technology, safety innovation, event management, and hospitality careers. Motorsports venues like Bandimere’s create real-world pathways into technical and vocational professions critical to America’s economy.
We have also witnessed firsthand the tourism and business impact their events generate. Major race weekends drive hotel occupancy, restaurant traffic, retail activity, and regional spending while attracting nationally recognized media coverage and corporate investment. Fortune 500 partners do not align casually; they align with organizations that demonstrate credibility, operational excellence, and community responsibility. The Bandimere family has consistently earned that trust.
Across the country, the Bandimere name represents one of the highest standards in motorsports — not only in competition, but in charitable support, civic engagement, youth involvement, and responsible facility management. They understand that a racetrack must be a community partner first.
This next chapter in Hudson represents thoughtful growth, long-term stability, and continued positive economic and workforce impact for the region. We respectfully encourage the Town Council to support this effort and allow this proven family operation to continue serving Colorado and the broader motorsports community for generations to come.
Sincerely,
Shawn Stewart
