Intellicor International Academy is founded by Dr Mohammad Adnan Alghorani, based on iHeart Schools Model, a project of IDEA. in School Psychology. See you soon!

Welcome to Intellicor International Academy (IIA). The name of the school, Intellicor, is derived from the founding principle of the adopted schooling system, the Intellectual Hearts Schools Project. The syllabus ‘Intelli’ is derived from Intelligence/Intellectual and the syllabus ‘cor’ is derived from core/heart. Intellicor is based on the Intellectual Hearts concept, where one’s heart and brain

connect and collaborate. The heart host one’s core beliefs which affect how the brain processes information. That is, one’s sensation and perception is dependent on heart’s beliefs. We tend to understand the world in the light of beliefs we held in our hearts. Intellicor International Academy (IIA) is the first and the pioneer school of the Intellectual Hearts Schools Project (iHearts Schools), designed by the International Development & Education Association (IDEA). Intellicor International Academy (IIA) is designed to be student-focused, committed to collaboration with families, and dedicated to serve our communities and nation. About
Dr. Mohammad Adnan Alghorani

I was born and raised in Damascus, Syria. I graduated from Damascus University with a B.Ed. in Psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Counseling psychology and Educational and Vocational Guidance. Then, I pursued, at The University of Texas at Austin, my M.A. in Educational Psychology, with a concentration on Educational Administration, and my Ph.D. My K-12 education-related jobs include: (1) Principal of the Weekend Islamic School at Austin, Texas, (2) Founder & Principal of Peace Elementary School that was evolved to Austin Peace Academy at Austin, Texas, (3) Principal of Michigan Islamic Academy. I have three wonderful children. Yusuf is sixteen and in 11th grade this year. Yahya is thirteen and in 7th grade this year. Maria is almost eight and in 2nd grade this year. Please, plan on attending most, if not all, announcements, activities, and the Open House events. These are chances for students and parents to know about the school and to come to meet other interested students and parents and to meet school staff who are gradually joining the school. Consider getting involved with the school. We can use volunteers at school all the time. Give the school office a call. We will be happy to help you find an area you can help out in! Having the opportunity to work with the dedicated staff and parents in Charlotte community is truly great! The new school is a dream come true, especially the middle and high school programs. From relay races to chalk obstacle courses that double as reading practice, these activities get our kids moving, laughing, and cheering each other on. It’s our way of celebrating all their hard work this year, finishing strong and making memories together! ☀️🎉
