A huge thank‑you to Queens of the Green for joining us yesterday and giving our members a fun, confidence‑boosting crash course in golf terms, etiquette, and on‑course know‑how. Our group walked away feeling empowered, informed, and ready to tee off like pros.

We loved the energy, the laughs, and the chance to learn something new together. Our NAWIC crew showed up strong, learned a ton, and had the best time doing it.

Join us Tuesday August 16th at the NAWIC Charlotte General Meeting with special guest Carrie DeJaco - co-founder of Constructive Plant Rescue. as we learn about rescuing native plants from land pre-development to continue to build the eco-systems in our neighborhoods and around new developments.

Carrie is also the Founder of For the Birds and the Bees Ecological Consulting as a way to provide clients with information, guidance, and advice about what's growing on their property and how they could improve its ecological function. This often includes recognition and removal of invasive plants, as well as increased incorporation of native plants into the landscape plan to provide for the needs of pollinators and other wildlife.
