For the last 35 years, Time Out Youth has been a place of refuge for LGBTQ+ young people, providing them with community, support, safety, and the freedom to be themselves. Now, we want to celebrate this milestone with a vital and important part of our community: you! On Friday, October 30, we will be opening our doors for Time Out Youth's 35th Anniversary Open House & Birthday Party! Join us as we honor where we've been, experience the work happening in the Center today, and celebrate the community carrying us into our next 35 years. As of today, all of our 2025 - 2026 interns have successfully completed their internships! This wonderful team served across all areas of our work, including Housing, Clinical, Programs, and Advancement. Whether representing us at a tabling event, sorting pick-ups from the food bank, or facilitating a group, they made a real and tangible difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ young people. We are so proud to have been a part of their academic journeys! Congratulations to our 2025 - 2026 class of interns: Craig, Brianna, Skyler, Kim, Atlas, and Sabrina! 💛🎉

We're getting ready for Charlotte Pride this weekend with a great program lineup! Come by for Melanin & MagiQ, Big Kid Drop-In, and Queerly Beloved! Our Sober Curious group also has some changes starting this month. Now led by our friends at EASE, this group is specifically for youth ages 18 - 24. You can then end the week by celebrating with us at Pride and riding our parade float! See our other posts for more information. 💛🎉
