Whether it happens at school, on a sports team, in a group chat, on social media, or elsewhere, this program will provide practical guidance, real-life scenarios, and age-appropriate strategies to help you support your child with confidence.

What happens before the children arrive? 💙

This week, our teachers aren’t just preparing classrooms. They’re preparing themselves.

As part of Teacher Orientation, our team spent time reflecting on one of the most important questions we can ask as educators:

What are the values that guide the way we show up for children, families, and one another?

Each educator identified their three core values, reflected on how those values shape their work, and then shared them with colleagues. Together, they discussed what those values look like in action, from how we respond to a child’s big emotions, to how we partner with families, to how we support one another as professionals.

We also challenged each other with an important question:

“How can my teammates lovingly let me know if I’m not living out my values?”

Because at Charlotte Jewish Preschool, we believe that exceptional teaching begins with self-awareness, reflection, and authentic relationships.

When your child walks into their classroom this year, they’ll be welcomed by educators who are committed not only to excellence in teaching, but to living their values every single day.

Please join us in congratulating Patrice Jacobs, our new Full Day Twos Lead Teacher! 🎉💙

For the past five years, Patrice has been a beloved assistant teacher in our Infant and Ones programs, nurturing our littlest learners with so much love, patience, and care. We are thrilled to see her step into this exciting new chapter at CJP!
