Overseer McGuire graduated from Columbia Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing and spent 40 years dedicated to this profession. She became an ordained elder and worked tirelessly to establish the Life Changing Church, focusing on renewing mindsets and transforming lives. In 2012, Overseer McGuire established My Daughter’s Keeper, a mentoring ministry addressing the holistic needs of women both spiritually and emotionally. She has a genuine love for people and aims to be a positive influence within God's kingdom.

Police Chief Patterson makes history as the first female police chief for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department! Before joining CMPD, Patterson was the Chief of the Raleigh Police Department (RPD) from August 2021 to March 2025. Chief Patterson served her country as a member of the U.S. Army Reserve from 1996-2005. Chief Patterson’s passions lie in building collaborative partnerships in the community and engaging the youth through positive mentoring initiatives.
