Mark Headen Endowment The Mark Headen Endowment supports North Carolina Outward Bound School's "Intercept" program.

The Mark Headen Endowment was established in memory of Mark Headen by his children and family. It will support the North Carolina Outward Bound School's (NCOBS) Intercept Program, which helps struggling teens transition their lives in more meaningful and positive directions. The Mark Headen Endowment will allow at-risk teens from Mecklenburg County to build communication skills, self-esteem, self-confidence, decision-making skills and leadership capacity in order to achieve a brighter future.
