On The Rise is coming — and we are not playing about it. 🎬

September 19th at Independent Picture House is going to be something Charlotte hasn’t seen before, and we want YOUR film in the room.

If you’ve been thinking about submitting but finances have been the thing standing in your way — today is the day to handle that. The Walter Keisling Film Submission Scholarship is available for filmmakers who need support covering the submission fee, and three scholarships are being awarded.

Today is the last day to apply.

If you’ve been hesitant about the submission fee, we have something for you. The Walter Kiesling Scholarship has sponsored three full film submissions to the On The Rise Student Film Festival.

That means three filmmakers will have their fee covered completely.
