Support Sydney Diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at 9 yrs old and living life to its fullest Sydney has an older brother, Spenser.

Every child loves waking up early on Christmas morning and opening their presents from Santa. This year, Sydney Marino awoke to open her presents and then lay around the house not feeling well. Her parents believed she had the flu and took her to the pediatrician the next day. After several tests and consultations with doctors, she was sent to the Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC where

she was admitted. Her doctor informed the family that Sydney had been diagnosed with t-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She had surgery the next day to have a port catheter installed and began chemotherapy treatment. Sydney has responded well to chemo and radiation but continues to face challenges with side effects from the medications. The family is learning to deal with the complications of the medicines, as well as the cancer treatments. Have a Heart Foundation would like to ask for your support for this young lady and her family. We will be planning ways to support Sydney’s family in the coming days. Parents are Trooper Kirk Marino with the North Carolina Highway Patrol and Kristie Marino who is the Office Manger for Axum Capital Partners in Charlotte, NC.

Hi all! It's me, Sydney. Most of you know that I have always had a heart for God. This March, I will be joining Go Missions on a mission trip to Africa. Go Missions partners with Spear NPO to help stop the poaching of rhinos while building relationships with the neighboring communities and spreading the good news and love of God. I am so excited to be going on this trip and being the hands and feet of Jesus to others. Will you consider praying for me and my group as we start to prepare for this trip?
