Juneteenth reminds us that freedoms is often delayed. And yet we keep pushing, finding joy in community.

We honor Juneteenth, the day the “last” enslaved people in this country were finally told they were free, more than two years after the promise was made.

Today we celebrate the Black pharmacists, technicians, researchers, educators, and students who strengthen our healthcare system.

June is National Headache & Migraine Awareness Month, a timely reminder to assess the systemic disparities in care.

Migraine prevalence is similar across racial and ethnic groups, but the data tells a different story when it comes to care.

These disparities show up in who gets diagnosed, who receives treatment, and who gets left behind.

Later this month, we will roll out a toolkit to equip community pharmacy professionals with the tools to close this critical gap in care.

The National Pharmaceutical Association (NPhA) and Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA) mourn the passing of Dr. John J. Scrivens, Jr., who entered eternal rest on May 27, 2026, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to shape generations of pharmacists for years to come.

His influence extends far beyond the organizations he helped build; it lives on in the countless individuals he empowered to lead, serve, and make a difference in their communities.

🕊️ Rest in peace, Dr. Scrivens. Your service and leadership will never be forgotten.
