Happy Earth Day from the hills of West Virginia! 🌿🏕️

Circle at Emma Kaufmann Camp has some of the most beautiful outdoor vibes of any camp anywhere — and we are not exaggerating. Trails, trees, Cheat Lake, and a whole lot of magic happening August 17–22 in Morgantown, WV. Earth Day feels like the perfect moment to shout it out.

We had a GREAT day racing by the riverside for Circle Camps today. Teams went into the woods to find words that are the essence of camp. Words like friendship, compassion, support, and healing. We had fun and we played - which at the end of the day is a lot of the magic that happens at Circle! Thank you all for being there and supporting Circle Camps. We can’t do this work alone and we’re so glad you’re in our Circle.

To be her...
They had to be her first.

We never want a camper to need Circle. But we are so glad they have it. 💚

No kid should have to experience the death of a parent. We wish every single camper who joins us at our camps didn't need to be there.

But they are here. And what happens next — the friendships, the fun, the Circle Time — shapes them in ways that last long after the summer ends.

So much of what makes Circle special is the counselors and volunteers who were once in our campers' shoes themselves. The counselor who knows exactly what to say? She was a Circle camper first. The one who shows up year after year without hesitation? Same story. The experiences that felt impossible at the time became the very things that made them who they are today.

It's Volunteer Appreciation Month and we have A LOT to say. 💚

Camp isn't camp without our incredible volunteers! They learn every camp song (yes, ALL of them). They master the dining hall chants. They stay up too late at cabin night and wake up early anyway — because our campers are worth it. And then 90%+ come back the next summer and do it all over again.

Circle volunteers: you are the magic. You are the reason camp is camp. We could not love you more. Thank you. 🏕️💚

Archers to the line! 🏹 thanks to for such a great day at the range for Circle! 🎯 originally became an archery instructor for Circle Camps when we were in need of one - that small decision has led her down a path of now owning her own archery range! Talk about a full circle moment. The power of camp to change lives is not limited to our campers, our volunteers leave changed too. We enjoyed seeing so many of our New England counselors and alum today❤️

Halfway there! We are officially at our halfway mark for our For the Love of Camp fundraiser! It’s not too late to join if you want to be a part of this amazing community of volunteers, alumni, and campers/families raising money for Circle Camps! Fundraiser ends 3/15!

We are in need of volunteers for our location this summer! (transportation provided from ATL).

At Circle Camps, our volunteers make camp the special place that it is. Bunk Counselors sit with campers through hard moments, make friendship bracelets, sing camp songs, laugh loudly at meals, and remind grieving girls they are never alone.

If you’re 21+ and want to spend a week making a real difference (while also having a whole lot of fun), this is your sign. ✨
