“Beacon Light of Refuge” goal is to turn around the lives of those who are underserved, living in poverty, low income, hurting, oppressed. While guiding as many transitioning/ or homeless men, women, families, children, ex-offenders, and veterans off the streets of America.

March is Women History month. "Walk In Freedom" Mentoring Program was inspired by Sojourner Truth. Sojourner Truth was a Preacher, an American abolitionist and women's rights activist. Truth was born into slavery in Swartekill, New York, but escaped with her infant daughter to freedom in 1826. After going to court to recover her son in 1828, she became the first black woman to win such a case against a white man.
