The Howard University Alumni Club of Charlotte serves the Bison community of the Queen City.

The Howard University Alumni Club of Charlotte is proud to invite applications for our 2026 Scholarship Program. This opportunity is open to both current Howard University students and incoming freshmen from the Charlotte area who are continuing the legacy of excellence at our illustrious university.

Our scholarship program is designed to provide meaningful financial support to students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and a commitment to service. Last year, we awarded $7,000 in scholarships, and we are excited to build on that impact this year!

We encourage all eligible students to apply and take advantage of this opportunity.

We have been asked to participate in the MLK Day Parade in Charlotte as a part of the Queen City HBCUs, for which Sabrina Roberts is our excellent liaison.

The parade is Saturday, January 17th at 9:30am. If you would like to participate, please note the following:
- The parade begins at 9th & Tryon.
- Plan by arrive by 9am.
- Line up is typically in alpha order.
