A huge thank you to the volunteers from Be One Medicines for spending their day with us at our NourishUp Pop Up Food Share! 💙

Thanks to their helping hands and the dedication of our volunteers and partners, we were able to serve 112 families yesterday, providing approximately 80 pounds of food to each family.

That’s nearly 9,000 pounds of food distributed to neighbors in our community in a single day.

We are so grateful for community partners like Be One Medicines who roll up their sleeves and help make a difference. Together, we’re helping ensure local families have access to the food they need.

We were thrilled to attend the open house for Beds for Kids this morning as they celebrated 15 years of making a difference for families across our community. ❤️

While their name highlights beds, their impact extends far beyond that. As a furniture bank serving families experiencing furniture poverty, Beds for Kids helps create safe, comfortable, and dignified homes for children and families in need.

We were honored to hear from outgoing Executive Director Lauren Evans and incoming Executive Director Zach Smith as they shared reflections on the organization’s incredible journey and exciting future.

Congratulations to the entire Beds for Kids team on this milestone anniversary! Thank you for all you do for our community. We look forward to officially partnering with you in the next fiscal year and continuing to help local families thrive.

As we close one fiscal year and begin another, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible volunteer leaders who make Lift Up Carolinas possible.

A heartfelt thank you to Linda Nash for her dedicated service and leadership over the past year. We are grateful for the time, energy, and passion she invested in helping advance our mission and strengthen our organization.

We are also excited to welcome Jeri Casey as our new President. Jeri brings a deep commitment to serving our community, and we look forward to the year ahead under her leadership.

At Lift Up Carolinas, our organization is powered by volunteers. From our Board of Directors and committee chairs to the members who step up every day to lead programs, projects, and initiatives, our impact is made possible by people who generously share their time and talents.

Thank you to all of our volunteer leaders—past, present, and future—for helping us feed, clothe, mentor, and educate children and families throughout our community. Here’s to another year of service, collaboration, and impact!

Tomorrow is Monday, and that means another Mission Monday at Altar’d State SouthPark! 💙

While our thrift shop is closed on Mondays, you can still help support Lift Up Carolinas. Every Monday through the summer, Altar’d State donates 10% of sales to our organization, helping us feed, clothe, mentor, and educate children and families throughout our community.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Charlotte Douglas International Airport and the Airport Community Partnerships for hosting an exceptional 2026 CLT Charity Golf Tournament. Their thoughtful planning, strong collaboration, and commitment to community made the event both meaningful and memorable.

We are especially honored that Lift Up Carolinas was selected as the beneficiary. Through this remarkable event, $174,834.52 was raised to advance our mission and deepen the impact of our work across the community.
