We were thrilled to welcome the Rough Riders Motorcycle Club back for their 4th annual visit to Autism Charlotte! Our campers got an up-close look at the motorcycles, saw the riders in action, and even got the chance to sit on the bikes.

A huge thank-you to the Rough Riders for making this summer tradition so special—and for creating memories our campers won’t forget!

Registration for our preschool (ages 3-7) and after-school (grades K-12) programs is now open. Visit www.autismcharlotte.org for details.

Our elementary students put their teamwork skills to the test—working together to complete a puzzle and then navigating an obstacle of their own: walking in sync with a balloon between them without letting it drop!

It took communication, cooperation, patience, and a whole lot of laughter. These are the moments where social skills become real-world skills—and where learning feels like play!

Registration for our preschool (ages 3-7) and after-school (grades K-12) programs is now open. Visit www.autismcharlotte.org for details.

Thank you to our AMAZING staff for transforming our playground and pulling off the absolutely best carnival in Charlotte!!! Our kiddos enjoyed hot dogs, slushes, pop corn, and funnel cakes, ALL prepared by their teachers! Fun games, friendly competition, singing, and dancing with forever friends made it even more special. As part of our “Not All Heroes Wear Capes” theme, our students had the incredible opportunity to visit Mecklenburg EMS Headquarters and learn more about the everyday heroes who work behind the scenes to keep our community safe.

Students explored the world of emergency services, learned about the important role of EMTs and paramedics, and saw firsthand the dedication and compassion that goes into helping others.

A huge thank you to the Mecklenburg EMS Agency - Medic team for welcoming our students and showing them what it means to be a real-life hero.

Heroes come in many forms—and our students met some amazing ones! 💙

Our elementary students have a wonderful time exploring, creating, and making memories together. From play and hands-on activities to decorating delicious cookies, every moment is an opportunity to build skills, practice social connections, and celebrate creativity.

Whether they’re learning something new, working together, or simply having fun with friends, our students are always growing in confidence and independence. 💙

We love seeing their smiles, celebrating their accomplishments, and creating experiences where every child has the opportunity to shine!

Our high school students had an exciting day exploring the NASCAR Hall of Fame! From discovering the history of racing to checking out legendary cars, interactive exhibits, and the stories behind the sport, students enjoyed a hands-on experience right here in Charlotte’s racing hometown.

Field trips like these provide more than just a fun day out — they create opportunities for students to practice social skills, explore new interests, build independence, and share experiences with friends.

We love seeing our students try new things, engage with their community, and create memories together! 🏎️💙

When you have a song in your heart, the stage is yours! 🎤✨

Our students are always finding new ways to share their talents, build confidence, and celebrate who they are. This incredible karaoke performance of “My Way” reminds us that every voice deserves to be heard and every accomplishment deserves to be celebrated.

At Autism Charlotte, we believe in creating opportunities for our students to shine, explore their interests, and discover the confidence that comes from being supported and celebrated for exactly who they are.

Keep singing, keep shining, and keep doing it your way! 🌟
