The Ambassador Presentation Night was so special.

Our student ambassadors shared honest, thoughtful ideas about how they would change their educational experiences to better prepare themselves to make a difference in the world. Their creativity really shined through, especially during the mock “live” podcasts, where they confidently brought their ideas to life.

We are incredibly proud of these students and the heart they put into this work.

Our future leaders aren’t waiting for change - they’re creating it.

Through our Right Moves For Youth Ambassadors program, students engage in a seven-month leadership journey where they identify real challenges in their communities and design meaningful solutions.

This year, that journey led them to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Board of Education, where they courageously shared their ideas to improve education in our city.

This is what our Leadership & Civic Duty pillar is all about - empowering young people to use their voice, take action, and shape the world around them.

And the impact is real: research shows that students involved in civic engagement activities often achieve higher academic outcomes, including higher GPAs, while also building critical leadership and problem-solving skills.

We’re proud to stand beside these young leaders as they step into their power - not just as students, but as changemakers.

Last night, we were honored to receive the Education Impact Grant from the , awarded at the WIF Annual Meeting. This is more than funding; it’s belief in our students and in the power of education to change lives.

The women of WIF lead with courage, generosity, and vision. Their collective impact reaches far beyond one moment and into futures still being written.
