The growth of CAAC parallels the growth of the city of Charlotte since the early 80’s. Over the years, CAAC, along with the special language schools and Chinese churches in the area, has been the anchor for stability and continuity for Chinese residents as Charlotte rose to prominence, symbolizing the progressive new south. me along. True to its founding principle, CAAC is open to all fellow Chinese, Chinese Americans and others. Our goals remain the same: to preserve, promote and share our unique cultural heritage with others in this community.
