We lost another visionary this week in Gloria Steinem. Many knew her for her powerful work in feminism, but did you also know she was a fierce animal advocate? She fought against the concept of speciesism- the belief that some species are morally superior to others. She worked against forms of cruelty, exploitation, and oppression in the animal industry. She believed that protection and freedom belong to all living beings.
