May was all about showing up for the people who show up for our students every single day. 💛

Throughout Teacher Appreciation Month, we visited our partner schools with sweet treats, savory spreads, and a whole lot of gratitude for the teachers and staff who make a difference in kids' lives year after year.

We also made sure to fulfill some of their specific requests for classroom resources because great teaching deserves great tools.

As they say at Hidden Valley Elementary, "Our Teachers Are Wickedly Ozsome!" — and we couldn't agree more.

Thank you to every teacher, aide, and staff member across our partner schools. You are the heart of what we do. Enjoy your well-earned summer break! ☀️

Speedway Children's Charities - North Carolina

We had a great time volunteering with Speedway Children's Charities - North Carolina at the zMAX Dragway this April, helping sell raffle tickets in support of underserved children across our community.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to give back alongside such an incredible organization. Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make a difference. Your support truly helps brighten the lives of children and families right here in Charlotte!

We spent a beautiful spring evening on the patio at Laurel Park for our Spring Open House, welcoming women interested in learning more about the Charity League of Charlotte. It was a wonderful opportunity to share our mission, connect with new faces, and celebrate the community that makes our work possible. We’re so grateful and excited for what’s ahead! 🌸🌷💗

A fresh delivery making a real impact 💙

New uniforms, media center supplies, and classroom essentials have arrived for the students at Hidden Valley Elementary—made possible by the generous support of the Charity League of Charlotte.

Every item helps create a more confident, supported, and inspiring environment for learning. We are so grateful to be part of something that truly makes a difference—one student at a time.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Spring Fundraising Luncheon on Friday, March 27, at the SouthPark Hyatt Centric. The event was well attended and featured a delicious lunch. Together, we raised over $20,000 to support children in our partner, Charlotte‑Mecklenburg Schools!

Guests enjoyed learning about Charity League’s 105‑year history from members Elizabeth Cole Phillips and Nanine Hartzenbush Fox, and heard a moving story from another member, Angie Rosa Marshall. Our master of ceremonies, Kristen Miranda, brought energy and enthusiasm to our very first live auction. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Hyatt Centric for their hospitality and to all who contributed their time, resources, and auction donations.🌸 💟

It truly takes a village, and we’re so grateful to the incredible team at Ally for being part of ours!

Together, we partnered with the Principal at Starmount Academy to tackle a long-standing project that simply needed more time and hands than she had available.

A team of nine Ally volunteers joined a few of our members to build new shelving, unpack, reorganize, and label materials in the Science Lab. Thanks to their hard work, teachers can now easily access supplies and bring even more hands-on learning into the classroom.

A perfect example of what’s possible when community partnerships come together 💫

Thanks to the Charity League of Charlotte, the Briarwood Elementary Library just received a wonderful donation of much-needed books. Fresh stories, new adventures, and plenty of pages waiting to be turned!

Spring is coming, and so is a fresh start for our students!

Some of our members visited our Hidden Valley Elementary hub last week to stock and sort new shorts and polos, making sure kids are dressed, comfortable, and ready to learn as the weather warms up. Because when students feel good, they show up ready to shine. ☀️👕
