Fri., Oct. 16 Search Me
It is a bold ask to come before God saying, “Search me.” This request can only come when there is an intimate knowledge that cannot be hidden from God. And then the request to search me comes with the added favor to guide me into all righteousness. Finish this week with Psalm 139:23-24.

GUITAR - FEATURED CLUB OF THE WEEK!!

Guitar club is a new addition to McPIE family night this year. It has been well received.

This semester students will focus us:
Basic reading music
· Tuning
· Basic chords and progressions

· Optional- singing and playing together!

Did you know learning to play guitar supports student development? It strengthens reasoning and working memory, correlates with stronger math, reading comprehension and language, focus, stress relief and much more.

Let the music play!

October 18 • Paul: Heading in the Wrong Direction
Acts 9:1–16 (NRSV); John 14:4–7 (NRSV)
Paul was heading in the wrong direction fast when God knocked him down on the road to Damascus. Persecuting Christians with hate in his heart, God had to knock him down and turn him around in a completely different direction. Is this your call story? You were heading in the wrong direction fast until God got your attention and set you on the correct path? Rekindle that flame.

Thurs., Oct. 15 No Mistakes
God has never made a nobody. God literally broke the mold when he made you. You are not one in a million, but within our DNA there are 4330022000 possible combinations. I don’t even know what that number is, but God does because he created you uniquely you. Read Psalm 139:13-18.

Wed., Oct. 14 Never Alone
Another result of low self esteem is a feeling of being alone, even in a crowd. It is our deepest human emotion to long to be in community. Abandonment and isolation are two of our worst fears. Read through Psalm 139:7-12 and find comfort knowing that you cannot ever be far from God’s presence. He is closer than your very breath.

Tues., Oct. 13 Finishing Sentences
A good friend who has spent time with you knows your thoughts to the point of completing your sentences. Read through Psalm 139:4-6. When we realize that God already knows our words before they cross our lips, we find comfort knowing how well this God knows me.
