A powerful gathering of voices, perspectives, and purpose! ♥️

Our CEO, Shakieta Maloye, was honored to be part of the 2026 Criminal Justice and Mental Health Conference, presented by the Everyday Solace Foundation on October 7 and 8 in Dallas, Texas.

Shakieta participated in the panel discussion “Doing Time Together: Supporting Families Through Incarceration,” joining fellow advocates and community leaders to address the challenges families face when a loved one is incarcerated.

The conversation highlighted the importance of maintaining family connections, supporting children’s emotional well being, and ensuring families have access to meaningful community resources.

At Another Chance House of Refuge, we believe second chances extend beyond individuals. They strengthen families, restore hope, and create pathways toward healthier communities.✨
