Boys & Girls Clubs Washington State Association Boys & Girls Clubs enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.

Boys & Girls Clubs programs promote the development of young people by instilling a sense of competence, a sense of usefulness, a sense of belonging. When this strategy is fully implemented, self-esteem is enhanced and an environment is created which helps boys & girls achieve their full potential.

✈️💙 Thanks to a generous grant from The Boeing Company, Boys & Girls Clubs across Washington State have been expanding opportunities for thousands of young people to learn, grow, and succeed. This funding is supporting Clubs in communities throughout the state by providing safe spaces, caring mentors, and high-impact programs that empower kids and teens every day.

Across Washington, Clubs are using this support to strengthen programs that help young people build academic success, explore STEM, develop leadership skills, prepare for future careers, and lead healthy, active lives. Every community’s needs are different, but the impact is the same: more youth have the opportunities and support they need to reach their full potential.

We are deeply grateful to Boeing for investing in the future of Washington’s youth and for being a valued partner in helping create great futures for the next generation.

Yesterday, our statewide team of Washington Resource Development peers, along with colleagues from Oregon, came together for a Summit to share best practices, learn from one another, and celebrate that we are truly all in this together.

It was an inspiring day, and we are so grateful to everyone who took the time to join us. Together, we’ll uncover new opportunities to serve even more youth across our states because Club kids are the best kids! 💙

Thanks to Seattle’s Youth Access Initiative, some of our Club kids experienced this summer’s historic international matches firsthand… cheering, connecting, and creating memories they’ll carry forever.

Opportunities like these remind our youth that they belong in the center of the world’s biggest moments, right here in our own backyard.

We are so proud of our 2026 WA State Youth of the Year, Emelia, and our 2026 WA State Military Youth of the Year, Peyton. Earlier this month they attended the Pacific Regional Youth of the Year competition in Phoenix and had a BLAST! They both celebrated the winners that hail from other orgs. We are so grateful that Emelia and Peyton represented WA state! We know they'll go to great places and do amazing things!

500 people. One powerful mission.

Last night’s Champions 🏆 of Youth Gala Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue was an incredible reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together around youth and opportunity. The World Cup ⚽️ energy was off the charts and we couldn’t be prouder of our Bellevue team for hosting such an outstanding evening.

This team surpassed their fundraising goal and announced that they are expanding their impact to serve even more youth this year through an amazing partnership with Bellevue School District. Grateful to everyone who helped make the night such a success and to all who continue to believe in this mission. ✨💙

Two incredible milestones for youth across Washington yesterday! 🎉

Congratulations to Sarah Althauser, CEO of Boys & Girls Club of Lewis County, and Andrea “Andi” Blodgett, CEO of Boys & Girls Club of Yakama Nation, on opening TWO new spaces dedicated to supporting young people and families in their communities.

In Centralia, Sarah led the ribbon cutting for the new United Learning Center, a long-awaited investment in youth and community support. In Yakima, Andi celebrated the opening of the city’s first Boys & Girls Club, creating a safe, supportive, and opportunity-filled space for local youth.

These openings represent so much more than buildings. They represent hope, belonging, mentorship, and brighter futures for the next generation.

Every new Club and community space strengthens opportunities for young people across Washington, and we are proud to celebrate these important milestones alongside our local Club leaders and communities.

Congratulations again to Sarah, Andi, and everyone who helped make these moments possible! 💙
