Boys & Girls Clubs enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.

Boys & Girls Clubs programs promote the development of young people by instilling a sense of competence, a sense of usefulness, a sense of belonging. When this strategy is fully implemented, self-esteem is enhanced and an environment is created which helps boys & girls achieve their full potential.

What an incredible evening celebrating the Boys & Girls Clubs of Thurston and the important work they do for our community! 💙

Their annual auction, Born to Be Wild, brought together an amazing room of supporters who showed just how much they believe in the potential of our kids. Through incredible generosity, the evening raised significant funds to help provide opportunities, resources, and support for the young people who count on the Club.

We are so proud to celebrate this tremendous success and grateful to everyone who helped make the night unforgettable. Together, we’re investing in our kids and helping them thrive! 🏍️✨

👏 Leadership worth celebrating!

This week we were proud to have Francisco Bueno, our Alliance and Association Board Chair and Executive Director of Boys & Girls Clubs of SW WA, join our Government Relations and Alliance teams in Austin.

Francisco not only brought his perspective and experience to the table... he also presented to the group, sharing thoughtful reflections on a new process and helping our teams think differently about how we move the work forward.

We’re incredibly grateful for Francisco’s leadership, generosity, and willingness to always lean in. His commitment to our Clubs, our Alliance, and most importantly, the young people we serve is something we’re lucky to have at the table.

Thank you, Francisco, for showing up, sharing your voice, and making all of us better. We’re grateful to have you leading alongside us! 💙

Sometimes the best conference memories happen after the agenda ends. 🦇

Find yourself a group of Boys & Girls Clubs of America Government Relations & Alliance colleagues who are up for going beyond the required (and optional!) activities, and take the time to experience a little more of Austin together.

Good conversation, lots of laughs, and watching thousands of bats take flight over Congress Avenue Bridge at sunset… not a bad way to turn a work trip into a memory.

Because conference connections are great… but the “we actually hung out and had fun together” connections are even better. 🦇🌇💙

Spending the week alongside Boys & Girls Clubs of America Government Relations and Alliance leaders from across the country! 💙

One of our favorite things about the Boys & Girls Club Alliances are the reminders that while our communities may look different, we’re all working toward the same thing: making sure every kid has the opportunity to thrive.

We share ideas, learn from each other, advocate for our kids, celebrate what’s working, and help each other tackle the challenges ahead. And honestly, there’s something pretty special about being surrounded by people who care this deeply about young people.

Different communities. Shared mission. One goal: be ready for whatever is ahead because our kids are counting on us. 💙

This award honors a leader whose service reflects the legacy of Herman S. Prescott... someone who champions the rights and dignity of all and makes diversity, equality, and empowerment a hallmark of their work. Carlos exemplifies these values every day through his leadership and commitment to our Movement.

Shaila was recognized for her commitment to fostering a culture of learning and creating Club experiences where staff and youth can grow, learn, and thrive.

🏆 Celebrating Washington’s 100 Clubs! 🏆

10 incredible Boys & Girls Clubs across Washington have earned 100 Club designation, recognizing excellence in strategic thinking, operational efficiency, and making every donated dollar count for kids.

These Clubs also met 100% of the Pacific Region’s Operations Impact goals across six key areas, from teen engagement and workforce readiness to participation and future-ready commitments.

⛽️ Fill up at the PURPLE GIVING PUMPS and help fuel great futures! 💜

We’re excited to once again be part of Jackson Energy’s Shell Giving Pumps Campaign! Throughout September and October, participating Jacksons Oil Shell stations and stores will donate a portion of sales back to Boys & Girls Clubs in Washington State, helping support Clubs in the communities where the purchases are made.
