We seek to facilitate cross-system collaboration among family members, youth, & community partners.

The System of Care Collaborative of Mecklenburg County seeks to facilitate cross-system collaboration among family members, youth, community partners, and child-, youth-, and family-serving agencies to improve outcomes for Mecklenburg County’s children, youth, and families. The Collaborative plays a key role in creating a healthy System of Care by establishing strong youth/family/agency partnerships, identifying and organizing access to community resources, sharing community events, implementing strategies to promote System of Care development, and carrying out projects that improve community well-being. We typically meet on the 4th Thursday of every month via Zoom. Please reach out by sending a message here or email [email protected] if you'd like to join us!

Every month Mecklenburg county SOC brings awareness to a different SDOH topic with the intention to education and share resources.

SOC Coordinator Rebekah Collins, MSW and Family Partner Coordinator Jacoyia H. attended, sharing information and resources with families! Grateful for CML's partnership and engagement in our SOC Collaborative!

Each month Mecklenburg County System of Care Collaborative acknowledges different social determinant health topics of the month. For the month of August, in honor of International Overdose Awareness Month, we are remembering lives lost to overdose, working to reduce stigma surrounding those struggling with substance use and treatment, and taking action!

Each month we also like to highlight a community resource. This month we would like to highlight Promise Resource Network Inc. Harm Reduction program, which offers harm reduction supplies, education and peer support. Learn more at: https://promiseresourcenetwork.org/our-programs/harm-reduction/

A few weeks about Mecklenburg County SOC Coordinator Rebekah Collins attended the ribbon cutting of the new Stephen Morris Behavioral Health Center operated by Monarch! While based in Concord, the center is open for individuals living in Mecklenburg county and is a great new resource within the greater Charlotte area! Mecklenburg County SOC is grateful for Monarchs presence in the SOC collaborative and excited for this new resource in our community! 💙💚

💜 Join Us for Overdose Awareness Day CLT 2026 💜

Achieve Behavioral Health Services is honored to partner with community organizations across Charlotte for an evening dedicated to remembrance, education, hope, and recovery.

On August 29, 2026, we invite the community to come together to honor those we have lost, support those currently struggling, and celebrate the power of recovery. This family-friendly event will feature guest speakers, live music, food trucks, vendors, resources, a candlelight vigil, and activities for all ages.

✨ New Charlotte Area Resource Announcement!

The HANDS Center for Autism has officially opened its 5th location, now offering ABA services for children in the Charlotte community. This expansion brings valuable, family-centered support to local families and strengthens the network of care in our region.

We’re especially grateful for Gaile Valcho's ongoing engagement in our collaborative, her partnership continues to make a meaningful impact.

Meck SOC Coordinator Rebekah Collins had the opportunity to attend the grand opening last week and experience the beautiful new space firsthand, be sure to check out the photos!
