May 28 was the 3 year anniversary of Waylon's passing. I spent part of the afternoon in the best way I thought possible to honor him - seeing all of your kind donations off to they're destination to bring comfort and smiles to others ❤️ Thank you again everyone so much!

Hey! My friends with Pediatric Hospice have expressed so much gratitude for the donations to help brighten up the end of life rooms there for those beautiful children. They have used most of them up already since the last drop off and are in need of some more wall clings/sheets and some specific things they have seen a need for to help add comfort to end of life care for patients and families. I put together an Amazon list once again of these certain things they have gone through. If you feel led to help me aquire some of these things for them I would be so grateful ❤️ will be shipped to me and I will deliver personally like always! Will plan to deliver them some goodies in 2-3 weeks to give you a time frame.

I will be getting the gift cards to provide also using funds you have all so generously donated before.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for helping me to keep my Waylon's kindness going in his memory. I cant think of anyone more deserving than those kids!

Had the privilege to drop off a ton of stuff for the Inpatient children under Hospice care at Levine this afternoon - as well as see our "Nurse Amanda" that Waylon loved so much ❤️ We talked about my boy and the impact he has continued to make even now, I met a few more of the Hospice team there.. They were SO grateful! The things you all donated are going to such a great cause. Nobody is more deserving than those kids and they're families.

I asked them to let me know if any other needs come up, so don't forget I am always accepting monetary donations even in between collecting items.[ If they need something they let me know and I can send them a gift card/etc to get what they need so they are not coming out of they're own pockets to do for those kids under end of life care. Donations go 100% towards the pediatric hospice group and donations are all tax deductible]

Again.. THANK YOU so much for all who have contributed!

The support already is overwhelming ❤️ thank you all so much! Those Amazon deliveries have been rolling in already. It means SO much to me! I plan to try and have everything ready to deliver by week of, or the week after Thanksgiving at the latest ( just to give you a time frame )! I appreciate you all so very much helping me make this happen!

Hey Friends!

I am still donating things to Pediatric Hospice in memory of Waylon, I'm sorry I haven't updated in awhile. Life gets crazy sometimes but it's past time for me to stock the team up!
In the past I have focused on kids at home under hospice care, however currently there was a need expressed to me for items needed for the children under Inpatient Hospice care at Levine. The few hospital rooms, used specifically for end of life care for children need some help! These families spend they're final weeks with they're children in these rooms if they are unable to remain at home, and these kids deserve to feel like its more "like home" and comfortable, rather than like a cold plain hospital room. My friend/partner on this ( who was Waylon's home hospice nurse at the time ) has told me that often the nurses - her being one of them - come out of they're own pockets to buy things to decorate the rooms for they're kids ( patients) that they care so much about. They do not get funding for extra things like that.
My goal this round of donations is to help with that, and give them a stock of items to use for this cause.

I was given a list of certain things they are allowed to use for this. I made an Amazon list for convenience of those things. Will be delivered to me and I will load up and take to her at Levine.

If you feel led to help towards this it is greatly appreciated and means alot ❤️

If you prefer to donate money I will use it to buy whatever is lacking or needed before I deliver.

(I unfortunately cannot take much outside of the types of things listed specifically on this one. Everything has to be new/unopened of course)

Delivered 16 tackleboxes full of goodies & baby blankets/gift bags to my sweet hospice nurse partner this afternoon to give her precious patients ❤️ we talked about my Waylon and how we are sharing a little bit of his sweet self with these kids and families. It is truly a blessing to me to be able to do this and I thank you all for your support and donations to make it happen ✨️

I haven't updated in months! I'm so sorry - life gets so busy sometimes. Waylon's Tacklebox, Inc. is still going on! I am in the process of putting together more boxes and goodies for children/babies/teens under hospice and palliative care - this restock will be going towards those within the hospital setting this time. I plan to be handing them off to my partner/hospice nurse within the next few weeks!

I had a good bit of items leftover from such generous donations prior to use to fill them, but I always have to buy more of certain things and gift cards for the families, etc if you feel led or would like to donate to this project, You can do so via the website - waylonstacklebox.com ( tax deductible) or venmo -Baucom

I wanted to take a second to update since it has been awhile!
Unfortunately the plans that myself and my go to person with KidsPath ( the pediatric branch of Hospice that we support ) had for Christmas did not unfold as planned. The organization as a whole went a different route to obtain gifts for they're patients - so that's okay! As long as they got loved on!
She still has tackleboxes and things on hand for the time being - and we will plan to do more in the New year! ❤️

Had the pleasure of delivering more boxes to the Pediatric Nurse with Hospice today for her precious patients ❤️
It always does my heart good to see her and hand them off!
She is stocked for right now on all ages!
We have some plans in the works for Christmas to bring these kids and they're families some joy - I will share details when the time gets closer!
