Mrs. Mobley has been a FTS senior for some years now. Today, our ED completed Mrs. Mobley’s trust in her separate capacity as the Founding Partner at Justice in Action Law Center. We’re honored to announce that For the Struggle, Inc. has been awarded a $4,000 Nourishing Our Neighbors Grant from the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation!

No senior should have to choose between their health and their next meal. Because of partners like Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation, we’re able to continue serving older adults with the dignity, care, and support they deserve.

As our Executive Director, Alesha Brown, shared:
“This grant helps us continue providing nutritious meals to older adults across Charlotte while ensuring some of our most vulnerable neighbors remain connected to the care, dignity, and support they deserve.”

SaluteU had an incredible opportunity to participate in Health & Wealth Day with The FLY Foundation 💙

Our students enjoyed a relaxing yoga session, learned practical tips for grocery shopping on a budget, and gained valuable financial literacy skills to help them build a strong foundation for their future.

Experiences like these empower our youth to make healthy choices, develop smart money habits, and invest in their overall well-being. Thank you, The FLY Foundation, for creating such an impactful day of learning and growth! 🌱💰
