Carolina Project

Carolina Project Supporting our local military currently serving overseas in combat zones. Many of our troops have extremely supportive families and friends here at home.

Carolina Project was founded in June 2011 with one goal in mind: helping active duty military deployed in hostile countries. Many of these troops do not have access to life’s basic necessities for extended periods of time: hot, running water; freshly prepared food; traditional shelter. In appreciation of their service to the United States, Carolina Project supports our local deployed troops throu

gh shipments of supplies. Some of the most cherished items received are foot powder and white crew socks because they clean their socks with bottled water. Unfortunately, there is a large percentage that do not. With a special focus on providing these unsupported troops with some comforts from home, Carolina Project acknowledges the sacrifice of these brave men and women and communicates their importance to their communities by seeking to ensure everyone receives a package or letter of encouragement and support.

3 years today... gone but not forgotten.

Today it is one year since Corporal Philip McGeath gave the ultimate sacrifice for this country and he will never be forgotten. We honor him by spreading awareness that there is STILL a war being fought in Afghanistan (or the Middle East) and that Freedom is not now – nor has it ever been – Free. God bless Cpl. McGeath, his family, and all other American Heroes (and their families) who have given the ultimate sacrifice.

“Yesterday, December 7, 1941, a date which will live in infamy , the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan. … As Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Navy, I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense. … With confidence in our armed forces, with the unbounded determination of our people, we will gain the inevitable triumph, so help us God.” — President Franklin D. Roosevelt
