The Gastonia Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating 43-year-old Rashawn Jackson, who has been reported missing.

Mr. Jackson was last seen leaving 102 N Liberty St. on July 1, 2025, and his family has not heard from him since. They are deeply concerned for his safety and well-being.

Rashawn’s loved ones shared that he lives with mental health issues and also struggles with addiction. In the past, when he went missing, he was located in Winston-Salem, so there is a possibility he may have traveled there again.

If you have seen Rashawn, know of his whereabouts, or have any information that may help us bring him home safely, please call Gastonia Police at [insert phone number] or dial 911 immediately.

Attention! Attention! Yahweh Ministries Inc. and Full Gospel have come together to organize a charitable event to provide food for the homeless. We will be distributing bags of food to those in need throughout the Gastonia area. Additionally, at 3 pm, a warm meal will be served at Full Gospel for those who require it.

We kindly request volunteers to assist us in this endeavor. There are various ways to contribute your time and talents, including helping with food preparation and distribution, showcasing your talents through singing, playing an instrument, dancing, or sharing spoken word poetry. We also welcome donations of non-perishable food items, coats, blankets, hygiene products, and monetary contributions. We also are asking for cooked food donations for the day of. We ask you all to please contact us with the name of your donation dish and please prepare enough for 50 to 100 people.

Your support and participation will make a significant difference in the lives of those in need. We look forward to your involvement in this meaningful initiative.
