Fifty Fabulous Women Giving Circle - Charlotte Chapter As an all-volunteer organization with no overhead, 100% of member contributions go directly to programs that align with our mission.

The Fifty Fabulous Women Giving Circle (FFWGC) is a community of philanthropic women who combine their financial strength to improve the lives of women and girls in Charlotte area. The Fifty Fabulous Women Giving Circle (FFWGC) Charlotte Chapter is a community of philanthropic women who combine their financial strength to improve the lives of women and children in the greater Charlotte, North Carolina area. The FFWGC Charlotte Chapter launched in 2021. Members meet four times per year to pool resources, hear presentations from three finalist organizations, and select the organization that will receive grant funding.

We are thrilled to announce our Q3 2026 grant recipient, Shine Teens. Shine Teens equips teen girls with essential skills often missing from traditional education, including emotional intelligence, self-confidence, and purposeful goal-setting. Their mission is to empower teen girls to know their worth, map out their paths, and live lives of amazing impact. To learn more about Shine Teens, visit their website at shineteens.org.

In addition, we had two other incredible organizations present and share more about the wonderful things they are doing in our community:
Next Step Clubhouse (www.nextstepclubhouse.org)
and
Project Outpour (www.projectoutpour.org).

Deciding amongst these three organizations was not easy, but we are so thankful to have had the opportunity to meet everyone and gain knowledge around different needs in our community. We are thrilled to announce our Q2 2026 grant recipient, HopeKids. HopeKids provides ongoing events, activities, and a powerful, unique support community for families who have a child with cancer or other life-threatening medical condition. Deciding amongst these three organizations was not easy, but we are so thankful to have had the opportunity to meet everyone and gain knowledge around the needs in our community. Birthright of Charlotte is a nonprofit organization committed to assisting women in the greater Charlotte area who are experiencing unplanned pregnancies. We are thrilled to announce our Q4 2025 grant recipient, Present Age Ministries! Present Age Ministries is a nonprofit organization committed to combating the sexual abuse, exploitation and trafficking of teen girls. They equip communities in the greater Charlotte area to identify at-risk teen girls through prevention and awareness education and to support survivors through holistic, individualized care.
