I've been collaborating with PastorServe's CSO, Jason Daye, in developing a plan for scaling our PastorServe services to all parts of the US. Our goal is that no pastor would walk alone. To make this a possibility, we must expand beyond the six regions currently served. More information to come on our progress in this area of work-- please pray for this growth in the meantime!

The need for the work of PastorServe is greater than ever! A recent Barna article said, "Overall, church leaders are feeling lonelier and more isolated from others than in years past, which has bearing on pastors’ overall state of well-being." The article went on to give the information below regarding the percentage of pastors who seek outside help. My prayer is that our reach would grow so that no pastor walks alone.

Our family is so grateful for your continued support of my work with PastorServe! None of this would be possible without your partnership and faithfulness to allow us to walk alongside pastors, their families, and churches.

In June, I had the opportunity with PastorServe to attend the General Assembly of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. This annual event was attended by hundreds of pastors and other church leaders from around the US and abroad. PastorServe was afforded the opportunity to provide one-hour coaching sessions free of charge to anyone who needed to talk with someone. Our four-person PastorServe team was able to serve 42 ministry leaders over the three-day event!

Friends, this fall I started working in operations and as a coach for PastorServe (www.pastorserve.net). This organization serves pastors, with the goal of helping them be healthy as they live out God's call on their lives.
Being a pastor is an honor, but it is also very demanding, physically and emotionally, on the pastor and his/her family.
So often pastors feel they cannot be honest with others about how they're really doing, for fear that being broken is not okay.
Pastor and author Scott Sauls says this: "When a minister becomes clinically depressed, there are very few places where he or she can turn for help.”
I have faced depression as a pastor. I reached out to PastorServe and met Wade Brown. Wade went on to coach me and come alongside our family as I pastored (see the attached picture of Wade and me). Undoubtedly, I would not still be in ministry were it not for the care Wade and PastorServe provided.
I fundraise my salary with PastorServe and am looking for friends like you to partner with our family both in prayer and financially. We need monthly donors and one-time gifts to reach our annual goals. If you would like to partner with us, message me or comment below and I will be in touch with you.
If you know of others who would be interested in supporting my work with pastors, please pass along my contact info. Will you help me and the rest of our PastorServe team fulfill our mission of making sure no pastor walks alone?
