Christmas in July at Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital was a day we’ll never forget as Santa and Mrs. Claus helped us spread joy to the incredible kids and families there! ❤️🎄

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we delivered hundreds of gifts while the kids also enjoyed face painting, glitter tattoos, nail polish, and refreshing treats from Jeremiah’s Ice.

Seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces was the highlight of the day!

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing partners TJ Maxx, Ember Group Consulting, CLT Nonprofit | QC Swap | Bad Prom CLT Host, 24 Hour Rowathon, Stuart Brown Custom Construct, Jeremiah’s Ice of Charlotte in Riverbend Village and Tim McBride🎅🏻and Debby McBride🤶🏻for helping make this unforgettable day possible.

🙏Volunteers are needed for Camp CLT on Sept 18-20! Shifts are ~6 hours long, volunteers must by 16 or older and must be able to stay the whole shift.

Camp CLT is for kids ages 8 to 18 whose primary diagnosis is a physical disability. It’s a free 3-day outdoor camp with traditional camp activities including pool, lake time, outdoor crafts/games/contests, tree climbing, movies, dance party and much more.

This Camp can’t happen without all of our great volunteers so we appreciate all the help each year!

Camp CLT is Sept 18-20…once again at Camp Thunderbird (in Lake Wylie, SC) and once again FREE!

Who is eligible: Kids ages 8 to 18 whose primary diagnosis is a physical disability.

What: Free 3-day outdoor camp with traditional camp activities including pool, lake time, outdoor crafts/games/contests, tree climbing, movies, dance party and much more.

Numbers: Camp is capped at 40 kids. We will have 6 full-time nurses around the clock helping kids with all medical, bathroom & dressing needs. All campers will have a 1-on-1 volunteer matched with them each day. We will also have additional CLT Foundation and YMCA staff helping at all times.

🎄 Christmas came early as we celebrated Christmas in July with the incredible kids at St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital, spreading smiles, hope, and holiday magic! ❤️

🎅 Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Spider-Man made special appearances, delivering gifts and creating unforgettable moments for so many amazing children and their families. Thank you Tim McBride Debby McBride Spidey

🎁 A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers from Collabera, Wells Fargo, CrossFit Weddington, and Bankhers for giving their time, energy, and hearts to make this day so special.

✨ From laughter and hugs to surprise gifts and happy memories, it was a reminder of the joy that can come from a simple act of kindness.

So much fun at our Mini Camp event yesterday at Camp Thunderbird!! We had 40+ kids and 50+ volunteers attend and everyone had a blast!!

Thank you to Barings and to Howard Hanna Allen Tate for sponsoring this event and supporting the kids we serve!!

The kids played kickball, basketball, did art projects, team building activities led by RyzAb0ve Fitness and of course got really wet in the water park!!
