What an incredible night!

On behalf of the Queen City Alphas, thank you to everyone who attended and supported The Alpha Luau 2026. Your energy, enthusiasm, and island spirit transformed a great event into an unforgettable experience.

From the moment the doors opened until the final song played, you helped create an atmosphere filled with fellowship, laughter, dancing, and memories that will last long after the leis are put away.

To our guests, sponsors, volunteers, DJs, vendors, and supporters—thank you for making this year's Luau our biggest and best yet. Your continued support allows us to create signature experiences while helping us advance the mission of serving our community.

This year we will walk students through coding concepts to include basic Python programming, AI, and Cybersecurity. One of the benefits of having a large chapter is that we can amplify our impact across the city. Today alone BNL hosted 4 service projects for the city.

1)Pack 1906 Cub Scouts: 12 scouts earned promotions today as our fledgling pack has doubled in size in just two years
2) Alpha Academy: Today, the students learned the importance of STEM careers and participated in critical taking exercises for cash, which certainly picked their interest.
3) Pharoahs: Today our high school juniors discussed how to prepare for and transition into college
4) Community Service: The chapter came together to serve food to some of our less fortunate neighbors.

And to top it all off there an ugly Christmas Sweater Party tonight. Whew!

Today at Alpha Academy we focused on STEM careers and how critical thinking was vital to success. The students split up and completed four separate challenges for cash prizes. It's funny how money brings out the competition. It definitely got intense.

Today our Alpha Academy students learned the value of service by preparing and donating over 500 sandwiches for Block Love Charlotte. Thanks to their generosity, many of our neighbors will have a meal tonight.
