FMBC Cub Scout Pack 63 Cub Scout Pack 63, chartered at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, is inviting families and boys in K-5th grade to join our family!

Pack 63's primary meeting night is Tuesdays from 6:30pm - 8:00pm from September to the end of May each year.

Why Pack 63?

Pack 63 was chartered at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in 1949. Today, the parents and leaders of Pack 63 strive to continue a legacy of helping to raise boys into men we can all be proud of. We accomplish this by putting together a program of fun activities for boys in Kindergarten through 5th grade.

What does membership in Cub Scouts do?

Encourage boys to push beyond their comfort zone? ✅ Teach boys how to work together as a team? ✅ Participate in cool activities like climbing walls, camping, archery, BB guns, sling shots, BMX biking, hiking, Pinewood Derby, and community service? ✅ All for an annual registration that is less than most youth team sports? ✅

Yep. That was what I was looking for when I found the Pack 63 community 6 years ago. My oldest son started as a 1st grader (Tiger). I watched him grow in confidence and leadership skills and he is continuing that journey as a of Scouts BSA Troop 63, also chartered at Friendship. Now it’s my youngest son who is being challenged to grow as he progresses through the Cub Scout program. That’s him in the photo above right after he climbed the climbing tower at camp for the first time. As Cubmaster, I have the honor of working with over 50 boys take the same journey as countless boys before them who have joined Pack 63. For me, it is a part of my ministry to mentor and guide youth. I have the privilege of working with a great and talented group of leaders and parents who are the heart of our program.
