A Kid Again fosters hope, happiness and healing for families raising children with life-threatening conditions. What We Do! What is an A Kid Again Adventure?

We host year-round events to support these families while providing memories that will last a lifetime. We make life for families caring for a child with a life-threatening condition “normal” again by helping them gain back moments of positive, family-shared experiences and memories. A chance to be a kid again; time away from the hospital; an opportunity to forget about being sick; a group experience to a local destination with tickets, food, parking, mementos, and memories to last until the next Adventure. Why We Do It! A Kid Again is specifically designed to involve the entire family (not just the child who is ill) to improve the well-being of everyone affected by the situation. This approach helps protect and strengthen the children’s primary support network and personal resolve during the most difficult period of their lives. Our Impact!
91% of families report improved emotional well being
86% of families say they are closer and stronger
85% of kids had enhanced feelings of hope

You're already planning dinner. Why not make it count?

We're thrilled to partner with Little Caesars Pizza Kit Fundraising! Through September 30, every Pizza Kit and Meal Deal Code purchased helps A Kid Again provide cost-free Adventures for families raising a child with a life-threatening condition.

For most families, pizza night is just another evening together.

For the families we serve, your purchase helps create something they may never be able to buy on their own: a day where treatments take a backseat, siblings laugh without worry, and parents get to watch their children simply be kids.

Thank you to Little Caesars for turning an everyday meal into an opportunity to create extraordinary memories.

Sometimes, the moments families never thought possible become the ones they’ll never forget.

One mom shared this through tears:

“Six Flags made me cry today. I always dreamt of my daughter riding roller coasters, but never thought it was possible because she was born without a leg. Today, I learned that my daughter will be able to ride.”

What changed wasn’t just access to a theme park.
It was the realization that a moment once imagined as impossible could suddenly become real.

Thank you to Six Flags and all of our partners who make moments like this possible.
