Too many men fight silent battles because they believe asking for help makes them weak. The truth is, isolation is dangerous. Men account for nearly 80% of su***de deaths in the United States, often because they suffer in silence without support. Real Men Protect is about building a brotherhood where men can stand together, speak honestly, and lift each other up. Stay connected. Reach out. Keep fighting. Your life has purpose.

We applaud the FBI and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department for their work in arresting multiple individuals connected to what appears to be a prostitution ring involving vulnerable women struggling with addiction.

At the same time, we must continue educating our communities on an important truth:

S*x trafficking is NOT prostitution.

Many victims are manipulated, coerced, groomed, threatened, trafficked through addiction, or trapped by circumstances far beyond their control. What may appear on the surface as “choice” is often exploitation rooted in trauma, abuse, poverty, homelessness, or substance dependency.

Arrests are important — but so is prevention, survivor support, trauma-informed care, safe housing, and long-term restoration.

We must continue fighting not only the criminal networks profiting from exploitation, but also the demand that fuels trafficking in the first place.

Our survivors deserve protection, dignity, healing, and hope.

Community, service, and racing — a winning combination! 🏁🏎️💨
Fields of Hope was grateful to spend Sunday volunteering at the Coca-Cola 600 with Speedway Children’s Charities North Carolina. Events like these remind us how powerful partnerships and volunteerism can be in supporting local nonprofits and families in need.
Thank you, SCC, for all you do for the Charlotte community!
