Eight Charlotte teams traveled to Greensboro last weekend to compete in the USTA 55 & Over State Championship, representing our league with outstanding effort and competitive play.

Congratulations to Captain Don Nelson and his team from The Palisades for winning the Men’s 4.0 division. The team defeated Western North Carolina in the semifinals and Sandhills in the finals to capture the State Championship title. With their victory, they have earned a spot to compete in the advanced to the USTA Southern Sectional Championship, which will be being held June 26–28 in Auburn, Alabama. We wish them the best of luck as they continue their championship run!

On our courts, there's a place for everyone. 🎾🌈Happy Pride Month from CTA.

🎾 Welcome to Season 22 of the — proudly presented once again by Vodka + Tea cocktails.

What is the Pro League? 👇🏻
The Pro League showcases the best players in Charlotte in a spirited team format. Men’s and women’s teams play weekly matches, hosted at Charlotte area tennis facilities at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evenings throughout the summer. The format is four doubles matches in the men’s division and two doubles matches in the women’s division. Regular season matches are followed by a playoff round to determine the Championship team. Players receive prize money/awards based on their team’s finish in the regular season and playoff round.

Players with an NTRP rating of 5.0 and above are invited to register to be considered for the Draft. Following the registration deadline, captains/co-captains select eligible players for their teams, using an equitable rotation process. The results are announced at a Player Party.

Registration is officially OPEN through Friday, May 29 (no late entries accepted). Visit the link below to learn more + register!
