The founder of Topicals has openly shared the challenges she faced as a Black woman navigating business, funding, visibility, and scaling a brand in industries where minorities are often underrepresented. Her journey is a reminder that talent alone isn’t always enough — access, resources, mentorship, and opportunity matter too.

That’s one of the reasons The JÜ-EL Effect was created. 🤍

Our mission is to help minorities and underserved communities gain the fashion and business resources needed to grow, scale, and work through the real challenges that come with entrepreneurship and creative industries. From education and mentorship to hands-on experiences and community support, we want to help bridge the gap for the next generation of creatives and founders.

Representation matters. Access matters. Community matters. ✂️✨
