His four years go by fast. As our sons grow into young men, some of the most meaningful moments happen when we slow down, listen, and make space for the people they are becoming.
Our YMSL value of Respect reminds us to listen with an open heart, appreciate different perspectives, and recognize the value in every person.
YMSL gives moms and sons opportunities to serve side by side, strengthen their connection, and make memories that last long after the volunteer hours are complete.

STAYING CALM IN CHAOS. Life can feel overwhelming. Change happens. Plans shift. And sometimes, the best thing we can do is pause, reset, and choose how we respond.
At our recent YMSLCLT Member Meeting, we welcomed Lori Saitz, CEO of Zen Rabbit and creator of the Zen Leadership Program, for an inspiring conversation about building emotional resilience, managing stress, and creating a calmer, more confident mindset.
Lori shared practical tools to quiet the mental noise, make clearer decisions, and navigate change with greater ease—and reminded us that calm is a skill we can practice.
Because being a servant leader isn’t just about how we show up for community. It’s also about how we show up for ourselves, our families, and each other.
ONE MEETING. ONE MORE OPPORTUNITY TO GROW.

There is something powerful about showing up for others. When we give our time, listen to someone’s story, lend a hand, or simply stand beside someone who needs support, we strengthen more than our community—we grow ourselves. And when life feels uncertain or chaotic, community matters even more.

NEVER FORGET.
September 11 reminds us of the strength found in ordinary people who choose to show up for one another.
In the face of unimaginable loss, people came together—with courage, compassion, and a willingness to help.
We remember the lives lost.
We honor the heroes who served.
And we remember what we are capable of when we stand together.
One person can make a difference.
A community can make a lasting impact.
Together, we are capable of more.

At Tour de Turns, Moms and Sons showed up together with Nourish Up to help make an impact on local hunger. We show up, build community, and serve together side by side.
Because when we show up for our philanthropy partners, we’re not just giving our time—we’re helping create a ripple of impact across our community.
Nourish Up fed 170,000 people last year. Let’s make a difference—together this year.
