Every year The Relatives hosts an event called Robert’s Walk, where participants walk from Freedom Park to our East Boulevard Crisis Center in honor of those who have taken the journey from crisis to safety and stability. The walk follows the path of Robert, a teenager, who was homeless and sleeping on a bench in Freedom Park. One day he walked up East Blvd from the park and saw the yellow Safe Place sign on the porch of our Youth Crisis Center. There he found the help he desperately needed.

​This year you can during Safe Place Week (March 21st-27th), post a picture of your walk (or run) and use the “walk a mile” hashtag. You can sign-up by clicking the link below, and you will receive a free tee-shirt for being a part of this event.

We are going live tonight at 8:30 pm (EST) for our FINAL raffle! So sad to see this all come to an end in a way but we are so proud of how much we have raised in the last 3 months! We have raised over $9,400 to support youth in crises and contributed many other experiences and foods. Support us and the youth in reaching our final goal of $1200. All money raised goes to supporting youth in crises and you could win a beautiful air BNB in Atlanta with tickets to the botanical gardens! OR a 1 hours CranioSacral therapy and reiki combined massage!!

Along with meals and snacks readily available for the youth they house as well as the ones who stop in daily to grab something to eat, this is where your money is going:

· $500 provides 20 sleeping bags and blankets for homeless young adults

· $1,000 provides exam fees for 12 young adults testing for their GEDs

· $2,500 provides 50 parents with Love and Logic Parenting Classes, equipping them with the tools and skills they need to parent their youth in crisis

Enter our raffle and support youth!
10$ a ticket or 25$ for 3! All of the prizes have been donated to support youth and all of the money goes to supporting youth, specifically a non-profit called The Relatives in Charlotte NC.
PRIZES for our final raffle include:
-Gift certificate for a 1 hour session of CranioSacral therapy and Reiki combined. Valued at 155$ This is a powerful healing treatment which combines the realignment and tension release of CranioSacral therapy and the energy healing and chakra balancing of Reiki
-Grand prize is a 2 night stay in midtown Atlanta, in a beautiful air bnb. With 2 tickets to visit the Atlanta botanical gardens!

Hello to all of our Lifting Youth Together supporters!!! We would like to extend a HUGE HUGE HUGE Thank ahoy to everyone who has supported us in our fundraising so far!! You are truly amazing givers, and it wouldn’t have been possible to give back what we have if it wasn’t for you! We have raised a little over $3,500 for The Relatives 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 in just a few short weeks !!!

As you know, we have been hosting raffles as a way to earn more funds for the nonprofit and we have some exciting news this week!! Our very last raffle is coming up soon.....
