It is such an awesome day 1/29/26 for our organization to meet with Bokator teachers!! Through their teachings they are able to keep our Cambodian culture alive for generations to come. We are proud and honor to be part of this movement.
Coming soon to Charlotte, NC we will have Bokator classes for all ages and welcome all students!

📌 Update for Day 81 (1/14/2026): Crossing into North Carolina - Heading to Fort Mill & Charlotte!
Tomorrow, we will cross the border from South Carolina into North Carolina! We will head from Rock Hill through Fort Mill and into Charlotte, NC—entering our seventh state on this journey for peace. We are grateful for the continued support and warm welcome we receive along the way.

📌 Itinerary for Day 81:
- Lunch Stop: Anne Springs Close Greenway - Lake Haigler, 2573 Lake Haigler Dr, Fort Mill, SC 29715 (Visiting Hours: 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM)

- Overnight Rest: Marion Diehl Recreation Center and Pool, 2219 Tyvola Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210 (Visiting Hours: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM)

We warmly welcome everyone to visit us during the visiting hours at both stops!

Thank you to Mark Jerrell for County Commission District 4 for hosting this fabulous meeting. It was good to be in a room with others that are working to help make Mecklenburg County better. I was there to listen,learn, and advocate for our fellow Cambodian American living in Mecklenburg County. I had a chance to meet our new County Manager Mike Bryant. Of course our Representative Jordan Lopez. Mark is true to his words. He works for the people and what he is today is because of the people. Together our community can grow when we give community support.

It was a great day to be among fellow people making signs and bracelets for Supporting The Walk For Peace and Unity. We gathered to support World Peace and Unity. It starts within you and from that your energy radiates to others. Charlotte is excited to be a stop for Walk For Peace.

Thank you Safe Alliance for hosting this wonderful short film series and sharing information about Human Trafficking. It takes a village to help Stop this. If you see something say something! We will continue to talk about this with our youth and friends so they are aware and can help.

We are super excited about Walk For Peace that will happen very soon in Charlotte, NC. There are 24 monks walking and their dog Aloka. We asked everyone to be respectful to the monks, volunteers, and everyone there. We are here to show support for them. As we come closer to the date of arrival in Charlotte, NC. We will let everyone know. We welcome all to attend and show support. Thank you to our Mayor Vi Lyles, Councilwoman Dimple Ajmera, and Elena for making the proclamation happen. We want to thank Elena and all the leaders working behind the scene for coordinating Walk For Peace in Charlotte, NC.
