Careers in technology can offer life changing economic opportunity, but many lower-income adults face barriers to entering the field.

Per Scholas North Carolina is helping change that through no cost, instructor-led, AI-enabled technology training. Participants earn industry certifications, build professional skills, and connect directly with employers seeking talent.

With support from a $7 million grant, Per Scholas will expand its program across North Carolina, creating more opportunities for adults to move into careers that can support their families and strengthen their communities.

U.S. Air Force Veteran Chris Ham always had a passion for technology, but it was his last assignment as a Client Systems Technician that opened the door to a tech career. After some initial skepticism, Chris joined Per Scholas North Carolina's Desktop Support course, and it transformed his journey. 🚀

With hands-on training and professional development, Chris landed a Cybersecurity Analyst role, earning over 4.5x his pre-training wages. Now, he's excited to keep growing in tech! 💻
