We exist to create spaces where children and families feel seen, supported, valued, and loved.

What started as a simple dream has grown into a tradition of serving our community.

Leadership is more than a title—it’s a responsibility.

When I founded The LOVE Project NC, I wasn’t simply creating a nonprofit. I was committing to a vision of building opportunities for young people to grow, lead, and believe in what’s possible.

Every program we develop, every partnership we build, and every community initiative we launch begins with one question:

How can we create a lasting impact?

As Founder & Executive Director, my goal is to build an organization that not only serves today’s youth but continues to strengthen our communities for generations to come.

This next chapter for The LOVE Project NC is about intentional growth—expanding our reach, strengthening our programs, building meaningful partnerships, and creating sustainable opportunities that empower young people and support families.

Leadership isn’t about standing in front.

It’s about serving with purpose, listening with intention, and helping others discover their potential.

This is why the work matters to me.

Some of the most meaningful moments with The LOVE Project NC aren’t the big events. They’re moments like this—being in the room, having conversations, listening, laughing, learning, and creating a space where young people feel comfortable being themselves.

Throughout my years in education, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it can be when a young person has someone who shows up, listens, encourages them, and believes in what they can become.

That belief is at the heart of The LOVE Project NC.

We’re creating more than programs. We’re creating opportunities for young people to build confidence, develop leadership skills, navigate challenges, discover their strengths, and understand that their circumstances do not determine their possibilities.

As Founder & Executive Director, my goal in this next chapter is to combine that passion with stronger programming, meaningful partnerships, structure, and sustainability so we can continue showing up for our youth for years to come.

Because sometimes making an impact starts with simply being present.

As we enter this next chapter, we’re strengthening our foundation, expanding our programs, and being intentional about the impact we want to make in the lives of our youth and families.

But we can’t do it alone.

💜 The Love Project NC: Rebuilding With Purpose 💛

The Love Project NC is committed to empowering middle school youth in grades 6–8 while supporting families and strengthening our community through love in action.

Our programs include BLAZE (Brown Ladies Achieving Zeal and Excellence), our flagship program focused on confidence, academics, leadership, and conflict resolution, and Young CEO’s, which introduces girls to entrepreneurship and business development. We also serve families through community outreach, including school-supply and holiday initiatives.

As we enter a new chapter, we are intentionally rebuilding and strengthening our organization—developing our programs, strengthening leadership, building partnerships, pursuing funding, and creating the structure needed for sustainable impact.

For 6 years, The Love Project NC has been blessed to pour LOVE into our community! ❤️

For six years, we’ve filled bookbags, shared laughter, created memories, and helped our children start the school year feeling supported, confident, and prepared.

And now…it’s almost time to do it AGAIN! 🎒📚⚽

Our 6th Annual Back to School Kickball Jam is coming up Saturday, August 1st from 2 PM–5 PM!

We are currently looking for volunteers and still accepting donations to help us make this another amazing year for our children and families.

We are accepting:
🎒 Backpacks
📚 School supplies
💳 Gift cards
🥤 Water & snacks
💵 Monetary donations

And remember — just a $50 sponsorship can help provide school supplies for 10 kids!

Today, our B.L.A.Z.E. girls had the opportunity to spread joy and creativity at Rockwell Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center 🎨💜

Through a special Sip & Paint experience, the girls connected with residents, shared smiles, and created meaningful moments that go far beyond the canvas.

This wasn’t just about painting… it was about:
✨ Building genuine connections across generations
✨ Showing compassion and kindness
✨ Strengthening communication and social skills
✨ Growing in confidence and leadership
✨ Understanding the importance of giving back

Moments like this remind us that the smallest acts of love can make the biggest impact. Our girls didn’t just show up—they served with heart and purpose.
