It’s always a great day to promote literacy!

Grooming Greatness started LitFest (Literature Festival) last year at the Allegra Branch of Charlotte Mecklenburg Library and brought it back this year at the West Blvd Branch.

Last year we brought in the author of Tiara’s Hat Parade to read to youth and engage in an Authors talk with her book.

This year’s hat activity was centered around the book by having youth create their own hats in harmony with her story.

We are even more excited to promote our collaboration with the Children’s Theatre of Charlotte as we promote the bringing of the book to life on stage.

We have a limited amount of tickets available so please inbox if you would like to take your youth to the theatre to see the play. They are first come first serve.
