We spent Valentine’s Day delivering 70 NICU Hope Baskets and 25 hand-stitched hearts to the NICU! Finished with a quick peak into Hope’s room - our quote and her name are still there. Thank you to everyone for donating and to our friends, family, and all of Hope’s grandmas for helping today. It was a beautiful day and way to remember Hope. 🤍

Fundraiser update! We are in our final week with chapsticks, lotions, and journals remaining on our Amazon Wishlist. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far! Tonight, we are launching our 6th annual NICU Hope Baskets Fundraiser. Care packages will be delivered to families in the NICU in memory of our daughter Hope's 6th birthday. Items can be donated through our Amazon Wishlist (amzn.to/4j9Fn19). Every year since her first birthday, we have donated 60-100 NICU Hope Baskets to her NICU. This year, we hope to do the same. Thank you for remembering and honoring our daughter Hope with us each year.

Today, we hold space for families who have experienced all types of pregnancy loss and lost a baby or multiple babies. If you are unable to join us in person at the Wave of Light event, please consider lighting a candle and sharing your photo in the comments below. If you can join us in person we will be on the patio of Hope City Church - North at 6:30 and light candles at 7:00pm. Sometimes healing is found in community.

Next Tuesday, October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. If you or someone you know lost a baby or experienced any type of pregnancy loss, we invite you to join us for an evening to remember and honor our babies. A time of reflection begins at 6:30 and the Wave of Light candle lighting begins at 7:00.

The NICU nurses at our local hospital are collecting items for families with babies in the hospital in a town in Western NC. Last month, we were the Round-Up Partner for Cabarrus Brewery. Those donations from patrons and from our monthly donors were able to purchase these items for families in Western NC. We didn't need to run a specific fundraiser to make this happen. Our community had already stepped up.
