I trust this message finds you well. We are seeking your support for the completion of the much-needed maternity ward at the Brenu Health Clinic in Brenu Akyinim, Ghana. This project is a critical step in improving maternal and infant healthcare in the region, and we believe your generous contribution can make a significant impact.
The Brenu Health Clinic plays a vital role in providing healthcare services to the local community. However, the lack of a fully equipped and operational maternity ward has posed serious challenges for expectant mothers and healthcare providers. Pregnant women in the area often face difficulties in accessing appropriate care, especially during emergencies. OBey Foundation, with the assistance of funders and supporters, has completed 90% of the maternity ward. Our Brenu Clinic partner, Ghana Health Department informed us that we must build a residence for the midwife within the maternity ward. This came as a surprise to us and brought the project to a halt because we had not budgeted for the additional build-out.
To address this issue, we have embarked on a mission to raise the necessary funds to complete the maternity ward by the end of 2023. We estimate that an additional $2,000 is required by November 10, 2023, to build a residence for the midwife. Your contribution, no matter the amount, can make a significant difference in providing the community with access to safe and quality maternity care.
