“Hi, it’s Ally….it’s been an extremely interesting week. There was always a question how old I am….we went by what the owner said when they surrendered me four years ago to Animal Control and my teeth…which was hard to do since I wasn’t taken care of….but the consensus is I’m 9-10 years old. I have no gray hair and get around great!

Then the next thing is my perianal fistulas have been in remission for a long time. So we are going to do every other day for my meds….and do a recheck in a month 😊.

So what does all this mean….that I am now a foster to adopt! So I will be watching the email box for your application 😊.”

“It’s me again….Ally. You know what’s sad….that the reason why so many don’t want to foster me is because I’m 13 years old….yes, I may be a senior dog but age is just a number. I get around great. I don’t need help getting into a car and I get upstairs fine. I don’t get on furniture or in a bed. I’m very respectful. I lay at your feet, not on your feet. I don’t beg for food. I do my business as soon as I go outside. If you are a retired person, I would be a great companion. You could be my hero by fostering me or a bigger hero if you were interested in adopting me….sometimes the chances you take are the most rewarding…I know!”

“Hi, I’m Ally….I’ve been in the Rescue for 4 years because I had perianal fistulas (which are now in remission)and Rescue Mom thought having someone commit to the cost of my two pills ($240/month) and my prescription food ($150/month) would be too much for someone so I am a sanctuary pup (forever foster). But when you think of it, you don’t need to spend money on treats because I think my kibble is a treat….so I convinced Rescue Mom that I could actually be adopted if the person can afford the monthly meds.

Well I’m looking now for a foster because of life changes with my former foster. I think I’m perfect:

🐾 13 year old shepherd
🐾 house trained
🐾 crate trained
🐾 very chilled
🐾 very friendly
🐾 perfect companion
🐾 ride well in car
🐾 dog friendly (I go to doggy daycare)
🐾 lived with cats

Wow, I sound pretty amazing….because I am!
